They have sophisticated know how on bonds, derivatives and structured products across asset classes that allows them to analyse, unbundle uncover identifiable attractive return sources. They also have excellent connections to the street and main financial market participants

  • From 2013 to 2016 Guglielmo was a private investor focused on credit related investments.
  • From 2004 to 2013 Guglielmo was at Barclays Capital where he served as an Executive Committee member and Global Head of Distribution with 2,000 sales people across all asset classes (Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities and Equities) and Head of Barclays Capital Fund Solutions, an internal 5bn USD alternative asset manager.
  • From 1992 to 2004 Guglielmo held a number of roles at Credit Suisse –most recently as European Head of Derivatives Structuring and Marketing and Co-Head of European Distribution.
  • From 1989 to 1992 Guglielmo was at Midland Montagu where he traded interest rate swaps and options. He also set up trading operations for the firm in Tokyo and Madrid.
  • Guglielmo has a Degree in International Economics from the University Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

Chris Goekjian

  • From 2009 – 2016, Chris was a partner and Chief Investment
    Officer at Cheyne Capital, a 5bn USD credit focused alternative manager based in London. As such, Chris had overall responsibility for Cheyne’s portfolio management teams and investment products.
  • From 2001-2009, Chris was CIO at Altedge Capital, an Alternative Investment Manager he founded in 2001 and sold to Cheyne in 2009.
  • From 1990 – 2000, Chris was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse where most recently he served as Head of Global Fixed Income and a member of the executive committee. During his time at Credit Suisse he also served as head of Credit Suisse Financial Products and Global Head of Derivatives trading for four years.
  • From 1983-1990, Chris was an MD at Bankers Trust working in fixed income and equity derivatives trading in London, Tokyo and New York.
  • Chris holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.

Fabio Castagno

Head of Operations

  • Fabio graduated top of his class with a Master’s in Civil Engineering before joining UBS Investment Bank in 2010.
  • Starting his career in finance as a graduate, Fabio adapted quickly and was taken off the graduate scheme to work in the Structured Credit Risk and PnL team.
  • Soon after however, UBS announced the winding down of their Fixed Income Investment Banking arm and with this, Fabio moved to Cheyne Capital to join their middle office. Despite joining Cheyne Capital mid 2013 on a temporary contract, Fabio gained the trust of his superiors and was supervising within the Middle Office team by the end of the year.
  • After two years at Cheyne Capital, Fabio decided to go travelling around South East Asia and North America. Fabio then returned to London when presented with the opportunity to join Blueglen Investment Partners as their Head of Operations and work with his former colleague, Chris Goekjian from Cheyne Capital.

Laetitia Dourin

Senior Analyst

  • Laetitia graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Pure and Applied Mathematics in 2006. During her time there, she completed summer internships at JPMorgan and Schroders.
  • Laetitia subsequently joined GLG Partners’ Sales and Fundraising team in January 2007, covering top institutional clients in the Nordics, Benelux , France, Switzerland and Brazil, while also interacting with high-net worth clients.
  • After four years at GLG Partners, Laetitia left to pursue an MBA at INSEAD in France and Singapore, and participated in the exchange program with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
  • Upon graduation, Laetitia joined UBS’ Credit Flow Trading effort in London as a trader focusing primarily on CMBS, and consumer ABS.
  • As a result of UBS’ wind down of their Fixed Income Investment Banking, Laetitia moved to BlueBay Asset Management in December 2012 within the Global Leverage Finance team, first as a trader and subsequently as a Credit Analyst focusing on High Yield Corporate and European Bank issuers.
  • After four years at BlueBay, Laetitia joined BlueGlen in March 2017 as a credit analyst.

Charlie Fitzgerald

Senior Analyst

  • Charlie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class MA (Hons) degree in Classics in 2009.
  • Charlie joined Deloitte’s Restructuring team as an Analyst in August 2009, where he worked on a variety of engagements advising both the creditors and debtors of underperforming companies. As part of this, Charlie also gained his ACA qualification.
  • After two years in the Restructuring team, Charlie moved to Deloitte’s Portfolio Lead Advisory Services team where he was advising financial institutions on the acquisition and divestment of non-performing loan portfolios.
  • After four years at Deloitte, Charlie joined Goldbridge Capital Partners in April 2013 as a Credit Analyst working on their long / short European High Yield fund.
  • In November 2014, Charlie moved to Cheyne Capital where he worked as a Credit Analyst and subsequently an Assistant Portfolio Manager focused on sub-investment grade credit.
  • In April 2017, Charlie left Cheyne Capital to join Blueglen Investment Partners.
  • Since August 2016, Charlie has been studying for a Masters in Finance degree from London Business School on a part-time basis. He is due to complete this in June 2018.
